A: Yes it works on yours

A: It didn’t work on our door that has some texture to it.

A: Maybe if it's slightly textured but it requires pretty smooth surfaces

A: It's a bit loud might scare them

A: No it comes ready to go, besides needing batteries.
Q: Does it put marks on the walls? Is it sticky?

A: It stays on the wall through air suction (little vacuum). It is not sticky and it did not leave marks on our wall. It is a bit loud because of the motor for the suction.
